" Every times when my mom dried me. She noticed I just get wet on top layer of my fur. My dad said my fur is waterproof ( as known as double coat ). It is very hard to get wet to my skin. Not good as human umbrella, of course ! ...but it made me not scared the rain but I'm scared the bath ! "

we have one too, Ping used to use it as a way to go up on the roof. but we are not allowed out anymore. I think my coat is like yours. I have a double coat.

Most of long fur cats, They have water-proof fur. Mom think I scared the rain because everyone tell her cats do not like water. But not me !
As long I can go out, it's fine ! I don't mind walking in the rain, sit on the water
But Most cats , they do not like water. The rainy day will be so boring for me because no other cats are out, That's why I have to get up to my pergola to have a look any cats there !
And sometime, I made my mom run in the rain : ) because I don't want to get inside.And she try to get me. It was so fun for me..We play chasing in the rain : ) but I don't think she does like it.

When Tanya was wandering around during those earlier days before adopting EJ, Tanya, too, loved walking in the rain. Her inner coat was dry just like Puddy.

I hate getting wet! It also means a towel dry which I also hate...
Rumbles has a double coat too, and it's a good thing cause he loves to dip his head under the tap all the time!
I have a double coat too Mr.Puddy but Lucy doesn't alas and so if she follows me outside in the rain mum picks her up and dries her in a big floofy towel. It's not fair though cos she ends up with an extra snuggle!!
Puddy, you are so adventurous and we adore your "frontal ruff"...and everything else about you.
Mr. Puddy I am the same way...I slept ouside in the rain the other day and I only got a bit damp!
