Last night, No one home. They all went to my dad's parents 50th anniversary party. Before they go out, My mom planed to lock me in. But after my dinner, I asked my dad to let me out. No way, I gonna stuck inside the house for hours. Dad did understand me so he let me out. Mom was not happy about it.
They went for hours and hours. I wait and wait and wait in my backyard till it passed my bed time. They still not home. I start to worry " Do they come back ? " They never do these to me. They are always home.
I play in the back yard for a long long time and then I heard a taxi drove in my street. I heard the door shut. and then I heard my mom call me " Puddy...Puddy " They are here ! ....I wait for them at the back door.
I'm so glad they are here but I'm a bit upset because they came back so late. Dad open the door for me but I didn't get in as usual. I just stand there. I was confuse, Do they still love me ? Mom knew I was upset, she came to grab me inside and give me some treat. That's better !!! ...I ate and then we went to bed. I was so tired. I sleep so well next to my mom and dad.

Puddy, Puddy, Puddy. Of course your mom and dad love you, but I know it's sometimes hard to believe. I do the same thing when my dad goes out. I used to rush to the door to meet him, so he would be happy to be home and want to stay here, but he still goes out, to see people he calls "clients"! I don't know why those clients people can't come here instead, then my dad won't have to go out. So, now, when he comes home, I just stay on my window seat and won't even look at him. My mom is here, but I love my dad the best.

Puddy, please let your mom know that ZZ plant is popular in Asia. The Chinese name Jing Qian Shu literally means ‘Golden Money Plant’. Its shiny angular shaped leaves represent gold ingots. So having this plant at home symbolises ‘having plenty of wealth in the household’.
Some people still wants this plant though they know it's poisonous especially near Chinese New Year season.
I know, it is awful when they go out at night and come home late. Luckily I have a basket by the front door so I can wait for them there...

oh poor little one. This has never (yet) happended to us and we think Mrs H dreads it and may even miss an impawtant event if she can't get us in. She once nearly missed part of a wedding because we dallied outside and then she scagged her expensive wedding tights on our claws when she carried us before leaving in a rush (she was cross and had to stop off at the shop and buy some more and they costs a lot).
