My mom is the same as most cats' owner. She put my photo in her mobile so she can have a look every times she miss me while she is outside the house. I'm happy with it because I can feel she love me so much. But the thing, I don't like is her ringtone !
What's her ring tone ? It's " Meow " ring tone. But it's not my voice. It's no no cat's meow ( Link : Download Meow Ring Tone ). And every times, dad rang her. It freaked me out !
Because I think another cat sneaks inside my house. I jump up, I run, I look around " who is it ? ...who is it ? ...who dare in my territorial ? " but I can't see any. And then I just realize I had been tricked by the ring tone.
The worse one is my dad. Since he know my mom got this ring tone. When he got nothing to do, he just ring my mom to see my reaction and laugh at me. You see ! Why I don't like this ring tone.
PS : Thank Cod ! ...My mom didn't put this ring tone for every call in. She just put when dad ring from his mobile and our home phone. So when she heard the meow ring tone, she know it's from home or dad.

Oh, that's awful, Puddy. I can just imagine how Lindy would feel if my phone barked instead of ringing. She'd think another dog had come into her house. But you'll soon get used to it, and you'll know it's the phone, and you'll sleep right through it.

Oh Mr.PUDDY! How awful! Ask one of your kitty friends with nimble claws to help you change that ring tone. My mommy thinks this is funny though..me..I think it's awful.

I put my kids's picture in my cell phone too. But I don't have meow ring tone. (I din't know how to set up.) I have a stuffed kitty which meows and my kids get scared when they hear that voice. I'm glad your mom does not put the ring tone for every call :-)

My Mom has done the same thing with her 'photo' on her phone. She took a picture of me with her phone and uses it so I am always with her. In fact the only picture in her wallet is of me! Now if she could figure out how to get my meow on the phone she would do that too.

Dear all friends, My mom didn't know how to get the Meaw ring tone niether, but her friend transfer it by Bluetooth for her.
Her friend turned Bluetooth on first ( in her mobile ) then when my mom's phone pick up the signal. Her friend sent the ring tone to her ( like send SMS )

Those fake meow noises are quite pestful! I get really upset whenever there is a cat meowing on t.v. - I always look around for the intruder!

My human played some of those meows for me - I got really worried when I heard the kitten meow and started talking back to it, but the angry kitty freaked me out! In fact, I slapped Boodie because I thought it was her fault!

Our mum has a photo of the three of us spying on her through the window on her phone. She recorded one of our foster kittens, Freddie, purring in his sleep (he was LOUD!!!!!) and set that as the ring tone for when dad calls. Sometimes I get a bit confused by it.

Our mom has pictures of us on her phone too. Well we have to take turns with the irritating dogs though.
