Summer Garden

I'm back !!!! I know I know...I told you I will see you after Christmas but what I can do ? I miss you guys so much !!!!! and my mom just got human's holiday this afternoon. And she had a big nap. She think she is free now.....hee..hee..hee...Free from Human work but she is not free from me : )

This year is really wicked weather. Its supposed to be Summer right now in Australia. But in some day it's cold ( not cold like you guys but cold enough to wear a jumper ) and we have a lots of rain in this Summer. But its so good for our garden.

Today I and my dad will show you my garden. What we get for this Summer. In front of us. There is a big tree. That is the pohutukawa or the New Zealand Christmas Tree. Every December this evergreen tree obligingly clothes itself with masses of bright red flowers.

and The Red Wattlebird love this flowers ( this bird is the second largest honey eater in Australia ) The one which freak me out in the old day ( see old post in this link : Prey )

Now we are going to show you to another side of the garden. We will see this purrple flowers start to blossom. I don't know what it calls.

And our plum has a lots of fruit this year. But my favorite thing, I love to go around in the garden on my dad's shoulder !

Even though we are in the northern hemisphere, our weather is closer to yours this time of year than it is to the East Coast of the U.S. But not this year - it has been awful and gray and VERY rainy! I love your garden - it's very pretty.

I am also glad you did not have to put on a jumper, Mr. Puddy!

Mr Puddy, your garden is lovely, but the best thing was seeing you on your dad's shoulder! The mom laughed over that, thought it was so adorable!

Good to see you, Mr Puddy! We missed you. Your garden is lovely and your garden transport system is fantastic! The purple flower plant is Agapanthus, in the lilly family - hope you don't like to nom on that plant, it's not good for kitties! Have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Mr. Puddy,
Your garden is so pretty. Mama especially loves that tree with the red blossoms.

You look so happy and cute on your dad's shoulder! Thanks for the garden tour!

If I don't see you again before Christmas, I wish you and your family a very warm, purry, happy Christmas!

He Mr. Puddy! Great way to travel! As one of your readers said the purple flower is Agapanthus. Also called "Lily's of the Nile". That Woman has purple ones; white ones and one she really babies (even more than me) that is deep purple. Reason we have them is they are extremely drought tolerant plants. I don't eated them cos I only am attracted to the grass for really good barfs.

Happy Christmas!

Whoa, Mr. Puddy, you have a VERY lovely garden - the New Zealand Christmas tree is just gorgeous! And our mom's mouth started watering a bit when she saw your plum tree - she LOVES plums! But the best part of this post was you riding on your dad's shoulder!! Neither one of us likes to be held or carried, but our brother at the Bridge used to love for our mom to pick him up and carry him all over the place. You are a very good boy!!!

Merry Christmas!!! Love, Fuzzy and Zoe

You gotta love a 'cat shawl' like that -- just the thing to keep a bean warm on a walk around the yard. Love your garden.
